Nyarko Joseph (Ghanaian) was born in 1987 and grew up in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. Greater Accra Region is Ghana’s capital and it is known for fishing and crop farming. Joseph got into the University of Cape Coast in 2012 to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree programme in Agriculture. He was honoured with a Second Class Upper Division, with a research work in crop science. Joseph is a RUFORUM MasterCard Foundation 2018 CARP+ Scholarship beneficiary. He is currently pursuing Master of Philosophy in Crop Science at the University of Cape Coast (Ghana). Joseph dreams of becoming a Lecturer as well as a researcher in the field of crop science i order to ensure food security, reduce poverty and create jobs for youth in Ghana.
