A Few Words About the Project
University of Cape Coast in Ghana has the capacity to generate knowledge and advanced technologies to make pineapple farming profitable. This project evolves an action research to develop a sustainable commercial pineapple value chain to improve smallholder pineapple farmers’ livelihood.
The pineapple value chain carp+ project facilitates the development of sustainable commercial production, processing, and marketing of pineapples in the Central Region of Ghana.
Modern technology is making it possible for the youth to find agriculture attractive and it provides opportunities for them to engage in the service industry involving small farmers.
